Revelation 13:4-10
In the previous verses of chapter 13, we discussed that the dragon and the beast both are represented in the Islamic Empires of the past and represented by the current empire rising in today’s News.
The statement in verse 3 “that all the world wondered after the beast” which we see happening all over the world as Countries and Governments are embracing Islam and even in our own Country, Sharia law is being promoted to take the place of Constitutional law in some States.
Verse 4 the worship of the dragon is through deception. A study of Islam would reveal that the Koran opposes the Bible and Christianity. Anything that is in opposition of God’s Word would be of an antichrist spirit of which the responsible party would be the dragon. Worship of Islam would be worship of the dragon ultimately.
This verse also states that the dragon gives power to the beast system. Examine what is happening in our day and we see this power being forced upon the world to where they are claiming that an Islamic Flag is going to fly over the White House some day.
Once the Church of Jesus Christ is removed from the Earth, Islam will be able to finish filling the void and fulfill this verse in stating ‘who is like this beast system and who can even oppose it with war?’
Verse 5 indicates the propaganda that is already being spewed out through the airwaves will evidently increase. Muslims are continually attacking anything that opposes their beliefs to the place that they want to Eliminate any opposition voice. Blasphemy laws are constantly being presented to the Nations for ratification.
They want only Islam to be heard. They have even infiltrated the Church of America with a new movement called “Chrislam!” The apex of this appears to be slatted for the last half of the Tribulation Period or Forty-Two months.
Verse 6 Says “he” will open his mouth in blasphemy against God and Heaven. The he encompasses the beast system and antichrist, for Islam already does this and we can be sure that their Mahdi will do the same.
Verse 7 reiterates the power given by the dragon as well as governments that will yield to Islam in which they will persecute and kill the saints of God. If we pay attention to the propaganda being spewed out, we will hear that Islam wants world control which of course would be all kindred’s, tongues and nations.
Any religion or systems that are not Islam are considered infidels to be forced to embrace Islam or be destroyed.
Verse 8 so those that have not embraced Jesus as their Lord and Savior having their names written in the “Book of Life,” will ultimately worship the beast system which will involve worship of antichrist as well.
Verse 9 is a cry for all that will hear to hear and in other words heed what is being said.
John 3:16 reveals God’s heart and desire for mankind not to be deceived by this worldly or satanic system. He does not want any to perish, however He did give mankind freewill to choose and many will make the wrong decision in the end.
Verse 10 in research of this passage; it is not made clear as to why the King James is saying that those who lead into captivity and kill with the sword will reap the same. Many modern translations stated that whoever will be made captive will be and those killed with the sword will be also.
The fact that the last statement of this passage refers to the endurance and the faith of the saints would support the modern translations understanding.
Islam is known also for taking captives and or killing with the sword those that oppose them.
